Lead instruction through coaching, planning, and data-driven action. Enroll by August 28 for the 2026–27 session!

Overview: The Instructional Leadership Lab+ provides a comprehensive development experience for educators stepping into or strengthening teacher-leader roles, to lead a team’s instructional improvement at a deeper level. With eight monthly professional learning sessions offered throughout the school year, this series builds on the Instructional Leadership Lab’s core practices of observation and feedback with planning and data-driven instruction practices to further strengthen learning results.

In addition to mastering observation and coaching, participants will:

  • Learn how to lead effective planning meetings that translate standards into strong instruction
  • Facilitate data meetings that identify trends, uncover misconceptions, and drive targeted responses
  • Apply proven protocols for supporting teacher growth and student outcomes
  • Complete a capstone project that integrates observation, coaching, planning, and data practices into a cohesive leadership approach

Each participant receives expert feedback from our instructors throughout the experience, culminating in the final capstone evaluation.

This is ideal for educators stepping into or strengthening leadership roles who are responsible for coaching teachers, leading teams, and improving student achievement at scale.

Benefits: Build credibility and expertise when pursuing a team leader role; develop or strengthen essential leadership skills for managing a team of educators; gain a deeper understanding of instructional leadership and data-driven decision-making; network and collaborate with other aspiring and current teacher-leaders.

Cost: $2,000 per person
