Empower yourself as a new Reach Associate™ paraprofessional with this comprehensive series designed to set you up for success. 

Overview: This four-part series equips paraprofessionals with the foundational skills and knowledge to thrive in their roles, focusing on building relationships with students, small-group tutoring, data-driven instruction, advocacy, and how to reflect on the first year to set goals for the next. 

Cost: $1,250 for full learning series 

Duration: 8 hours of live, virtual training. Sessions occur every other month from September 2024 – April 2025. 

Who Should Attend: New Reach Associate™ (RA™) paraprofessionals. 

Benefits: 

Earn 1 CEU credit for licensure (0.2 CEUs per session) 

Develop effective strategies for building strong relationships with students 

Learn to use data to inform your instructional practices 

Gain confidence in advocating for your role and navigating challenging conversations 

Reflect on your first-year experiences and set goals for continued growth 

Sessions: 

Session 1: Building and Leveraging Relationships with Students (September 18): Learn techniques for building relationships with students to set them up for success, including active listening, feedback, and fostering a growth mindset.  Live session date has passed. Available asynchronously only.

Session 2: Joint Session: Using Data to Drive Instruction (November 19 or 21): Build key skills in data-driven instruction alongside school leaders, Multi-Classroom Leader™ (MCL™) educators, and Multi-Tiered System of Supports™ (MTRT™) educators. 

Session 3: Advocating for Your Role (February 12): Practice advocating for your role and having difficult conversations with your MCL™ educator and other teachers.  

Session 4: Small Groups and Big Wins: Reflecting on Your First Year (April 9): Review co-teaching strategies, small-group tutoring, and the effectiveness of your role to make adjustments for end-of-year testing and set goals for the next year.
